I was born in a small town in central Idaho. My family always struggled surviving the economic impact the world's economy has had on our region. Recently I have been able to help with a project that will change the way our society thinks when it comes to world economic trade. I am looking for support for our idea. Here is a small sample of our thinking!

Our world finds it necessary to transport things back and forth across the world. When this is done the cost of doing business increases to the point only certain people can afford to participate. As these people are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer and less people can afford to participate.

Our solution is basic common sense! Keep the money in the communities and let it regenerate itself and spread the wealth out to everyone. The way to start this is with the transportation fuel. The county of Lemhi, Salmon, Idaho uses approx. 3.6 million gallons of transportation fuel annually. Of this only 2.4% stays in our community. The rest leaves and is consumed elsewhere. A large portion ends up profit to only a handful of people's pockets!

If we develop a sugar beet to ethanol facility that will start with the 10-15 percent needed to blend with gasoline, this will get us producing locally. We then increase production as technology and common sense overcomes the population. Eventually we produce 100% of the fuel needs of our community and surrounding towns. This amounts to $10.5 million annually and will regenerate to $28.5 million each year! Our county's annual budget is only $7.5 annually! This would bring approx. 168 jobs back home.

The beautiful part of this idea is the value added business this facility will create. A dairy was in our community until the last 5 years, when greed took it away. A cheese factory to support the dairy also lost to greed!  A local commercial greenhouse and cannery can both be here. As we develop these industries back into our community the support businesses will increase and presto we are disconnected from the volatile, unstable world economy. There will be more money for our schools, social programs and healthcare for all! Poverty will be all but eradicated; obesity will be reduced as better food is available and can be all grown locally. Trade will still be a part of the scenario as each community exceeds the needs of their community!

The benefits to the environment, with the reduced transportation and excessive consumption, the use of cleaner fuel and growing plants to make fuel will completely change the negative effects of the last 100 years society has had on our world!

Opponents, such as the oil companies, will say this will ruin the trade needed to help develop ways to sell our products and help the developing world. I disagree, this will give every community in the world a chance to keep the profits in their community and spread the wealth to everyone. The opponents to this idea are the ones with the most to lose!  Big business! Wealth! Major Profits! The winners are the people that do all the work, not CEO's and Wall Street!

There is a lot more to this idea and the financial support is hard to get as we have found out. We need help teaching our idea to the public, it's simple, support your community first and then everyone can enjoy life! The way to equality is supply the needs of your community within itself first.

We need help as this idea is very complex and we are below middle class people struggling to put this together. Our government policy is funded by special interests and they are against any reform for the benefit of the people, especially when it is their profits. Can you put together a documentary and help us get support from the people?  Help the people realize there is a common sense solution to all the world’s problems and that they are right here locally in the people’s hands, screaming for attention!
